Rams from both the RICHWILT and Coopworth flocks are sold through private paddock sales rather than public auction, so every buyer gets to select their rams in person, on the ground. It also means Ross and Ruth are on hand to talk through exactly what you're looking at, whether that's a Coopworth or a RICHWILT: FE tolerance, worm tolerance, carcase yield, growth rates and muscling, the same traits that sit at the centre of everything Romani breeds for and that can help your own flock make real gains.

Our facial eczema and worm tolerance breeding programmes are one of the toughest in the country, and have put both our Coopworth and RICHWILT rams near the top of the tolerance rankings. In recent years we've had more enquiries than ever, from commercial and stud operators right across the North Island and into parts of the South, all looking for genetics that can stand up to the growing challenges of FE and triple drench resistance.
